Jessica Jondle

Jessica is a northern California native who has lived in San Diego County since July 2007.
Since graduating from U.C. Berkeley with a degree in Middle Eastern Studies, she has spent most of her working life in the academic field, being employed at various times as a writer/editor in educational publishing, a middle school social studies teacher, and a proofreader. It was in her two years leading a current events class for eighth graders in Berkeley that she developed a love for challenging the way kids view the world around them and emphasizing to them the importance of researching all sides of an issue before formulating an opinion.Jessica is a Republican who is concerned with social justice and does not always vote along party lines, although she considers herself conservative in most social and economic issues. She studied Arabic for more than two years and enjoys attending Arab film festivals and Middle Eastern cultural events, and she has a particular interest in our country's relationship with the Muslim world.
Jessica is currently working as an editor and attending graduate school for her master's degree in education. She lives in Vista with her husband Wayne, a U.S. marine and her high school sweetheart.
