I’ve been testing and using the Phantom for over a year now and have had the most remarkable results.  I’m a huge fan!  It isn’t like anything else...it needs to be examined…

The Adventures of Captain Save a Hood

Eric Clement with Captain Save a Hood

They're both stoked to be at their first Comic Con

Forget Watchmen and that Wolverine movie, the freshest debut at the Con this year comes straight from Booth 419.

Captain Save a Hood and his trusty side kick Peter Proper patrol the streets of Atlanta in their ’69 Chevy Impala, protecting their city from blistered gangsters, street pharmacists, and gold diggin’ baby makers. If they need back-up, they use the pay phone.

Four years ago, Eric Clement of Atlanta took his love for comics and the city, and spawned the series The Adventures of Captain Save a Hood and Peter Proper. “I wanted to make people laugh, to fill a void in comics that needs more humor,” he said.

There’s only one issue in print, but Clement has plans to release 12 more episodes. The first issue features our hero aiding single moms tormented by dead-beat dads and ridding the streets of money grubbing strippers.

All this and Captain Save a Hood is a superhero with no powers?! “He fights against any evil in the cities, and he never has success. But he tries,” Eric explains, “These guys have heart, and that’s the most important ingredient of a superhero.”

What no powers?! What kind of super hero is this guy?

I love that this guy is bringing humor to comics - he will help broaden the comic loving audience.

PS - Where did he get the hat?!!!! I want one!

It’s about time somebody came out with a comic book concept like this. It sound really cool and hope this guy goes far with this comic book idea.
