If you've never attended any of the films screening as part of the Comic-Con International Film Festival, then this is a good year to start. The first film on your list should be Chris Brandt's documentary Independents: A Guide for the Creative Spirit, screening Thursday evening at 6:25 in Room 26AB. This film is an entertaining, insightful, and thought-provoking documentary. Brandt assembles an impressive array of people within the comics industry to interview.
