Coen Brothers Win Top Directors Guild Award

The Coen brothers, directors of No Country for Old Men, have won best directing honors from the Directors Guild of America. The Coens' sense of humor extends to acceptance speeches. Upon receiving the award, Ethan said, "Oh, we get two of them." Joel explained they have an area of the office where they keep their awards and plaques. They call it the ego corner. He said when Ethan is feeling down, he spends a couple hours in the ego corner spit shining awards.
This could seal a Best Director win for the Coens at the Oscars.
